MLI Dialogues | Nontuberculous Mycobacteria Lung Disease (NTM-LD): Advancing Detection, Optimizing Therapy, and Improving Patient Quality of Life at ATS 2026

NTM-LD is a rare but serious condition, most commonly caused by Mycobacterium avium complex (MAC), and disproportionately affects patients with underlying lung diseases such as bronchiectasis, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and asthma—leading to delayed diagnosis, progressive lung damage, and diminished quality of life.

Unlike traditional lectures, this Dialogues program brings attendees into the conversation. Through real-time audience interaction, multidisciplinary expert insights, and real-world patient cases, you’ll explore the complexities of NTM-LD alongside leading specialists in an engaging, studio-quality format. This expert-led activity will include discussion and audience-driven dialogue as participants will examine current and emerging treatment strategies, including approaches for recurrent infection, and explore how evidence-based therapeutic decision-making can optimize clinical outcomes and improve patient quality of life.
